The Travelers Companies Inc. on Tuesday reported net income of $928 million in the third quarter, an increase of less than 1% from $919 million in the third quarter of 2014.
For the first nine months of the year, Travelers’ net income was $2.57 billion, down 3% from $2.65 billion for the same period in 2014.
Travelers' reported net written premiums of $6.19 billion for the third quarter, up 2.6% from $6.03 billon in the prior-year quarter.
