San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin on Tuesday announced a lawsuit against DoorDash alleging the company has classified delivery workers as contractors when California law requires they be classified as employees.
The civil complaint filed with the San Francisco County Superior Court seeks penalties and a court order directing DoorDash to classify delivery drivers as employees.
