Arkansas Extends Deadline on Self-Insured Tax; Missouri Adopts Presumption Rules

Four state compensation agencies have posted a new round of COVID-19 rules and deadline adjustments. Arkansas: Self-insured employers and groups will have an extra month to pay the state premium tax, the Workers' Compensation Commission announced. The assessment was due April 1 and penalties were set to kick in May 1 if they had not been paid. The commission said it is extending the deadline to June 14.  Commission offices remain closed and officials have not determined a reopening date.
