Rating Bureau's C&R Committee Meets Friday

The Workers’ Compensation Insurance Rating Bureau of California’s Classification and Rating Committee will meet via teleconference at 9:30 a.m. on Friday. Committee members will review options for calculating the advisory pure premium rate for a proposed new classification code that would be used for clerical telecommuters. The WCIRB is proposing that the Department of Insurance approve a rule change that would create a class code for telecommuters that would go into effect Jan. 1.
