Three months after the Kentucky legislature passed a sweeping workers' compensation bill, and six months before a statutory deadline, regulators are working to create a drug formulary, new prescribing guidelines and a process for extending limits on medical benefits.
"It's going to be a busy next few months," said Robert Swisher, commissioner of the Kentucky Department of Workers' Claims.
