The Louisiana Workforce Commission will hold a public hearing March 31 on amendments to the state's rules on medical dispute resolution.
Published in the Louisiana Register on Monday, the changes would penalize employers who repeatedly fail to respond to providers' requests for authorization within five days. Employers who fail to timely respond to such requests three times within six months would be subject to a penalty of up to $500.
