The Hartford Reports Q3 Net Income Drop

The Hartford on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $381 million, down 2% from net income of $388 million in third quarter 2014. The third-quarter results bring net income for the first nine months of 2015 to $1.26 billion. In 2014, a second-quarter loss in net income of $467 million offset first-quarter and third-quarter net income, which amounted to $883 million combined.
