The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation on Friday reported that the majority of health care providers in the state were rated as “high-tier” performers in the 2023 performance-based oversight assessment.
Providers last year were rated based on their documentation of how injured workers' condition prevented them from returning to work, and the completeness of work status reports, as well as designated doctors’ timeliness in filing evaluation reports with the division.
