DWC Readopts Dispute Resolution, Attorney Fee Rules

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation on Friday announced that it is readopting administrative rules governing medical reimbursement disputes and attorney fees. The division readopted dispute resolution rules in the Texas Administrative Code, chapters 140-144 and 147-148. The division also readopted the attorney fee rules in TAC chapters 150, 152 and 156. The DWC in January announced that it was reviewing the rules pursuant to a requirement that state agencies reassess regulations every four years.
