A divided Iowa Court of Appeals ruled that an injured worker was entitled to compensation based on his industrial disability, not his earning power, after he quit his job and took a higher-paying position. Tyler Dungan worked for Den Hartog Industries. He injured his back at work in July 2019. Dungan promptly reported the injury to Den Hartog and saw medical providers for treatment.
