Portal Allows Coverage Verification in 32 States

Stakeholders can now check employers' workers' compensation coverage in 32 states, thanks to an enhanced portal provided in conjunction with the National Council on Compensation Insurance, the Maryland Workers' Compensation Commission announced.

The Workers Compensation Coverage Verification service allows users to search by employer name. The web page shows whether the employer has comp insurance, who the carrier is, the policy numbers and the employer's locations.
