Former Coventry Board Member Austin Dies in Plane Crash

Dr. John Austin, a member of Coventry Health Care's board of directors from 1988 until his retirement last month, died in a crash of a small airplane, Coventry announced Monday.Austin was chairman of the board from 1995 to 2004.According to news reports, Austin and Oakland attorney Susan B. Jordan were killed on Friday when his two-seat Stork airplane hit power lines near Escalante, Utah.
