The U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals on Monday upheld the National Football League's settlement of the massive class action over players' concussion injuries.
"Though not perfect, it is fair," the court said.
Last April, U.S. District Judge Anita B. Brody signed off on a deal that provides players with medical examinations and monetary awards for those diagnosed with brain injuries. The settlement also obligated the NFL to establish education programs related to football safety.
