BWC Fraud Investigators Net Six Convictions

The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation netted six convictions in July in criminal cases related to workers' compensation fraud, bringing the total number of convictions for the year to 61 for BWC’s Special Investigations Department. Last month’s convictions include: Mike G. Abro, who was running several Happy's Pizza franchise locations in Northeast Ohio while coverage under multiple BWC policies had lapsed.
