The International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions is launching an online education service in 2022.
IAIABC said the program, called educate@iaiabc, will help its member organizations with workers’ compensation professional development, education and training.
IAIABC has offered online training programs in the past, including its EDI training subscription. The new program will build on the initiatives and grow professional development opportunities within the workers’ compensation community.
The new educate@iaiabc service will include recordings and self-paced modules on topics that include:
- The history of workers’ compensation.
- Jurisdictional spotlights on dispute resolution, compliance and international systems.
- Data governance.
- Work disability prevention and return to work.
- Mediation.
- Medical issues.
- Leadership.
- EDI standards: claims, proof of coverage and medical (current content that is included as part of the EDI training subscription).
- Jurisdictional roundtable meetings and legislative updates.
The educate@iaiabc service will be included with the IAIABC member dues.
