As Georgia attempts to reopen businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic, the state insurance commissioner is winding down directives that extended filing deadlines, suspended utilization review and urged insurers to avoid canceling policies.
Commissioner John King posted a bulletin Tuesday, saying that “in light of the improving conditions in Georgia,” several directives issued in March and earlier this month will be allowed to expire:
