Webinar to Cover Latest Advances in Functional Capacity Evaluations

MedRisk and Select Physical Therapy are hosting a free webinar in June to explore the latest advances in functional capacity evaluations.

The evaluations are used for return-to-work decisions and compare an injured worker’s physical and functional abilities with the physical demands of a job. Functional capacity evaluations can also be used before beginning work-hardening programs, to assist with job placement and to help settle claims.

David Raptosh, regional director of work strategies with Select Physical Therapy in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, will demonstrate the components of a functional capacity evaluation during the webinar.

Attendees will also learn the purpose and value of FCEs, terminology and the criteria needed to identify a quality evaluation and provider.
