Virginia Updates EDI Plans to Include Release 3

The Virginia Workers’ Compensation Commission has updated plans for implementing the International Association of Industrial Accident Boards and Commissions (IAIABC) standards for Electronic Data Interchange Claims Release 3 and has announced plans to implement IAIABC-complaint proof-of-coverage reporting.The agency said it will issue a draft implementation guide in February and hold stakeholder meeting and training sessions that month.
