DWC Releases Report on Workplace Injury and Illness Rates

The Texas Department of Insurance’s Division of Workers’ Compensation released its annual report on Texas workplace injury and illness rates. DWC gathers statistical data on nonfatal injuries and illnesses from a sample of Texas private employers based on their North American Industry Classification System codes. This Survey of Occupational Injuries and Illnesses is done each year in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics.
