The Nevada Workers’ Compensation Section said an emergency order that extended claim and hearing deadlines and prevented professional employer organizations licenses from expiring is no longer in effect.
Gov. Steve Sisolak’s emergency declaration from March stopped the clock from ticking on legal issues and declared licenses that expired while the order was in effect would still be deemed valid. The governor on June 29 issued a new emergency declaration that did not extend those provisions.
