SIME Selection Panel Meeting Moves to July 27

The Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development announced the panel that selects physicians to act as second independent medical examiners will meet July 27 instead of July 20. The SIME Selection Panel picks the doctors whom injured workers and employers can ask for a second opinion when there is a disagreement about the extent or the nature of a workplace injury. In addition to the July 27 meeting, the group is also meeting June 8, June 22 and July 20. All meetings are at 1 p.m. and will be held telephonically and by video conference.
