After they were all but forgotten last year, Minnesota workers’ compensation appeals court judges could soon see a $7,000 pay raise, thanks to a bill that’s expected to pass the state House Tuesday.
House Bill 3873, sponsored by state Rep. Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake, would make Minnesota one of only a few states this year to address pay for workers' compensation and appeals judges, something that has become an issue as courts seek to attract qualified candidates.
