RIMS Names Successor After VP of Strategic Initiatives Retires

Nonprofit risk management firm RIMS announced Monday that Carol Fox, vice president of strategic initiatives, has retired. Soraya Wright, the founder and former chief risk officer of SMW Risk Management Consulting, is replacing Fox, RIMS said in a news release. Fox chaired several RIMS committees and served on its board of directors before becoming a staff member in 2010. She led RIMS content, education, publication and research teams and oversaw the organization’s global initiatives, RIMS said.
