Senate Approves Death Benefits COLA for Essential Workers

A plan to provide cost-of-living adjustments to benefits for essential workers who die from COVID-19 passed the New Jersey Senate Monday morning. “This is an opportunity for us to put a marker down that these lives are important and the work that they do is truly essential and making sure that we respect that,” the sponsor, Sen.
