The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training posted hospital rates for services provided to injured workers on or after July 1.
Hospital charges are multiplied by the appropriate percentage for each facility. As an example, if Butler Hospital bills $1,000 for services provided to an injured worker, application of the in-patient adjustment of 56.4% results in payment of $560.40, the department said.
The hospital rates also include separate factors that should be applied to ambulatory surgery or emergency room services.
