BWC Starts Sending $1.6B in Dividend Checks to Employers

The Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation on Tuesday said it started sending dividend checks to employers and will put more than 170,000 checks in the mail by Monday. The announcement comes after the bureau’s board of directors on April 10 approved a request by Gov. Mike DeWine to expedite the 2020 dividend declaration to help employers struggling with the fallout from the COVID-19 pandemic.
