California hospital workers would be presumed to have compensable claims for infectious diseases, cancer, musculoskeletal injuries, post-traumatic stress disorder and respiratory conditions, under a recently introduced bill.
Sen. Dave Cortese, D-San Jose, on Wednesday introduced SB 213, which would create the rebuttable presumption for hospital workers who provide direct patient care.
