State Reports No Change in Reimbursement Rates for Hospitals

The Massachusetts Office of Health and Human Services said it is not changing reimbursement rates for acute and nonacute hospital services provided to injured workers on or after July 1 but expects to do so at the start of 2022. The agency typically updates the payment on account factors every year on July 1. However, because the pandemic delayed reports on hospital costs, current payment on account factors will continue through Dec. 31.
