FDA Approves Abuse-Deterrent Opioid RoxyBond

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved RoxyBond, an abuse-deterrent formulation of immediate-release oxycodone. RoxyBond is the first immediate-release opioid analgesic approved to be labelled as having abuse-deterrent properties, according to drug company Inspirion Delivery Sciences LLC.
