Kenneth Hannigan Launches Medical Bill Review, Payment Firm

Kenneth Hannigan, who has more than 20 years of experience as an executive and entrepreneur in medical cost containment, announced the launch of Accuro Solutions to provide medical bill review and payment services to the property and casualty insurance industry.

Hannigan, who most recently served as CEO of specialty networks at Paradigm, is the chairman and chief executive officer of Accuro Solutions. He held management positions at several companies during the past two decades, including MedRisk, Universal SmartComp and Align Networks before founding Adva-Net.

The Accuro Solutions’ automated platform applies jurisdictional fee schedules, industry clinical edits, ODG guidelines, payer rules, payment integrity edits, and preferred provider organization and usual and customary pricing. Payers can customize auto adjudication rules, and the system can generate electronic payments with explanations of payments for physicians and other medical providers.

The company is based in Sarasota, Florida.
