Two Wisconsin-based companies have teamed up to launch a bundled-payment program for workers’ compensation, even as some are questioning the feasibility of value-based care in work comp.
Trilogy Health Solutions is partnering with tech startup Access HealthNet on the new program, called WC Bundled Payments, that the companies announced last week.
Through the program, payers can shop for providers of particular medical services, including imaging, physical or occupational therapy, and orthopedic and other surgeries, offered at a set cost.
