Washington’s annual Governor’s Industrial Safety and Health Conference will be held virtually this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19, according to the state’s Department of Labor & Industries.
The 69th annual conference, scheduled for Sept. 21-25, is normally one of the Pacific Northwest’s largest workplace safety events, the department said in a news release.
Session topics are expected to include special training on COVID-19, at-home ergonomics, fall protection and mental health assistance in the workplace.
