Ametros Names New CEO; Former Chief Executive to Stay On as Board Chairman

Workers’ compensation set-aside administrator Ametros has a new CEO, the company announced in a news release Wednesday. The company promoted President Porter Leslie to its top executive position, as former CEO Marques Torbert plans to head-up a new private equity firm focusing on Black-owned businesses. Torbert will stay with Ametros as chairman of its board of directors. The leadership change is effective immediately, the company said. Torbert had been Ametros’ CEO since 2013.
