WCD Extends Time for Obtaining MCO Panel Provider

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division has published an industry notice regarding the continuation of benefits for 14 days after enrollment in a managed care organization. Effective April 1, Oregon Administrative Rules chapter 436 division 015 is being amended. Workers enrolled in a managed care organization will have 14 days instead of seven to obtain an MCO panel provider when a change of providers is required.
