Man Sentenced to Probation, House Arrest for Fraud

A man who failed to disclose a prior work-related back injury, denied preexisting conditions and operated his own business while receiving workers' compensation benefits was sentenced to probation and ordered to repay $75,000 in benefits, the Nevada Attorney General's Office announced. Joseph Bricker, 49, claimed he suffered a major back injury while working for a Dunkin' Donuts store in Las Vegas. He collected benefits from March 2013 through May 2014.
