More than 50% of workers’ compensation professionals in the U.S. adopted telemedicine in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a survey conducted by insurance technology company Mitchell.
About 40% of respondents said impacts from the pandemic drove stakeholders nationwide to take up telemedicine services, while 70% said they believed telemedicine and predictive analytics will impact comp systems significantly in the next decade, according to a news release announcing the survey results.
