As the COVID-19 pandemic continues unabated in many parts of the U.S., doctors, attorneys and claims administrators may soon see more coronavirus cases with workers claiming psychological damage stemming from symptoms and events related to the deadly virus, said Southern California clinical psychologist and college professor Ronald C. Heredia.
Workers can be compensated for psychological issues related to COVID-19, said Heredia, who is the chief operating officer at the Westwood Evaluation & Treatment Center and a psychology instructor at East Los Angeles College.
