A Bay Area lawmaker is pushing legislation that would allow the Office of Self-Insurance Plans to release information about self-insurance programs run by public agencies throughout California.
Assemblyman Tony Thurmond, D-Richmond, on Wednesday amended AB 2334 to add language allowing OSIP to release information about administrative costs, benefits expenditures, and the solvency and performance of public self-insured employers’ workers’ compensation programs.
