After many think sessions with stakeholders over the past two years, advocates say a bill introduced in the U.S. Senate this week would clean up what has been a messy approach to Medicare set-asides. Senate Bill 3079, sponsored by Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, and Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Florida, is a new and improved version of a bill the two introduced two years ago but which never emerged from committee.
