Insurers and self-insurers will see a slight decrease in their administrative assessment fees for fiscal 2021, the Maine Workers' Compensation Board said.
The assessment on premium base has dropped from 2.76% to 2.63%. The board adopted the lower rate last month, and payments are due this week.
The assessment, which funds the board's operations, has fluctuated slightly in recent years, from a low of 2.46% in 2017 to 2.77% in 2019.
