The U.S. Department of Labor has fined an Oklahoma construction contractor more than $200,000 for repeated “serious violations related to excavation work,” the agency said in a news release.
Occupational Safety and Health Administration officials cited Sapulpa-based Cherokee Pride Construction Inc. after inspectors visited a Broken Arrow job site and found workers standing in water as they installed lines in trenches as part of a street-widening project.
