As promised last week, the Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court has released 2021 updates to its fee schedules for inpatient hospital and trauma services, showing a modest increase for some treatments.
The fee schedule for inpatient services also has added some diagnostic-related group codes that apply to conditions seen during the COVID-19 pandemic. Those include 177, respiratory infections with major complications; and 191, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease with complications or comorbidity.
