Murphy Vetoes Policy Cancellation Grace Period Bill; Other Comp Bills Advance

Three workers' compensation bills — and one conditional veto by the governor — are moving through the New Jersey Legislature this week after months of inaction. Gov. Phil Murphy on Monday sent back SB 2354, which would have authorized the state insurance commissioner to bar insurers from canceling policies for non-payment for at least 60 days during a public health emergency.
