DOL Proposes Update to Energy Employees' Comp Act

The U.S. Department of Labor has proposed changes to its regulations governing workers’ compensation for energy employees. The proposed changes are intended to increase administrative efficiency, DOL said in a news release. The changes would also address claims adjudication issues that the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs has seen since the rules were last updated in 2006.
