The U.S. Department of Labor has proposed changes to its regulations governing workers’ compensation for energy employees.
The proposed changes are intended to increase administrative efficiency, DOL said in a news release. The changes would also address claims adjudication issues that the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs has seen since the rules were last updated in 2006.
