Department of Workforce Services Announces New Deputy Director

John Cox, director of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, named John Ysebaert as his new deputy director.

Ysebaert has worked as administrator of the department’s Standards and Compliance Division for the last six years. As the head of the agency’s compliance arm, his responsibilities included overseeing the state’s workers’ compensation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, labor standards and employment tax programs.

The department said Ysebaert focused on OSHA and work comp safety programs.

Ysebaert replaces Lisa Osvold, who was named senior administrator of the Wyoming Department of Health’s Aging Division in February. Osvold served as deputy director of the Department of Workforce Services for 11 years.
