Guard Insurance Group on Wednesday announced the promotion of two executives following the retirement of the company's founders.Chief Executive Officer Sy Foguel has assumed the role of president and former Chief Administrative Officer Carl Witkowski was promoted to chief operating officer, the Wilkes Barre, Pa.-based carrier said in a press release.Both positions were previously held by Susan Shoval, Guard's co-founder, who has retired from the company along with her husband and co-founder Judd.
