Nebraska Workers' Compensation Court Judge Ronald L. Brown will retire on Aug. 3 after serving for 18 years on the bench, the court announced on Thursday.A reception for Brown will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 3, at the court's offices in Suite 100 at 1010 Lincoln Mall in Lincoln.Following his retirement from the bench, Brown will return to private practice with his son, Aaron, and son-in-law, Colin Theis, at the Omaha law firm of Brown and Theis.Gov.
