The Kentucky Department of Workers’ Claims on Wednesday announced it is returning to virtual proceedings.
“In light of recent developments, all in-person hearings and mediations shall be conducted by telephonic or video conference technology until further notice,” a statement from Interim Commissioner Robert Walker reads.
The department in June announced that hearing sites were reopened for use in cases where parties agree to an in-person hearing or when an administrative law judge sustains a party’s motion for cause to hold the proceeding in person.
