California workplace safety regulators fined adult film production company Third Rock Enterprises Inc. $77,875 for violations that allegedly exposed performers to sexually transmitted infections and illnesses.
Cal-OSHA said after receiving a complaint, investigators on Jan. 12 inspected a film shoot in Woodland Hills and found producers did not protect performers by requiring the use of condoms.
At the same time, producers did not provide a vaccine or follow-up medical examination to employees who were potentially exposed to hepatitis B.
