A new study has found an association between high-frequency hearing loss in both ears and the presence of coronary heart disease in people who are exposed to loud noise at work.
The report was published last month in Occupational & Environmental Medicine. Its lead author was Wen Qi Gan of the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health at the University of Kentucky College of Public Health.
